Presenting an exhibition of work from China based artist/designer Pan Wei’s study program at Musashino Art University, which has been regularly implemented since 2005, coming to develop to an ongoing program of“Calligraphy and Design” for 1st year students since 2012. This program is designed to allow participants to appreciate the beauty and pleasure of calligraphy through hands on practice, and this exhibition features a series of 30 works produced through this class, along with the work of Wei himself and an installation of calligraphy upon traditional Chinese cloth shoes, opening the world of calligraphy.
