Since opening in 1986 the Setagaya Art Museum has gathered an extensive collection and in this exhibition presents the nihonga of Tekisei Abiko, the western-style painting of Takeshi Hayashi and Teiji Goto, the print making of Hisao Domoto and Toeko Tasuno and the photography of Kiyoji Ohtsuji along with an introduction to Shozo Kitadai and Katsuhiro Yamaguchi of Jikken Kobo.
