50 Years of Rock— The Beatles vs. The Rolling Stones

Bunkamura Museum of Art
Finished
The Beatles broke up in 1970, only eight years after their debut, but still managed to produce numerous masterpieces in that short period. Critically acclaimed and loved by multiple generations, their music has not lost any of its power. The Rolling Stones, meanwhile, have weathered multiple crises and stayed together without disbanding once. Now in their 70s, its members continue to perform songs that have gone down in the annals of rock history. In celebration of the 50th year since both formed, this exhibition presents a total of around 100 valuable works of art, photography, and vintage records connected to the two legendary bands.
