Tokuro Sakamoto
In creating his works, Tokuro Sakamoto first photographs the familiar scenery of everyday life, focusing on its qualities and points of commonality. He then uses these photographs to create paintings that eliminate superfluous elements, producing works that are representational while containing strong components of abstraction. This exhibition presents around 30 works on the theme of backgrounds.
