Yutaka Watanabe
The fourth show of the young Japanese artists series is a solo exhibition of Yutaka Watanabe. Yutaka Watanabe was born in 1981 in Tokyo. In 2007, he received an M.F.A. in painting at Musashino Art University's College of Art and Design. With a mixture of artificial materials and nature, he paints landscapes in an odd structure. The more we peer at the complicated, inscrutable scene Watanabe paints combining unique colors far removed from the descriptive colors, we feel deja vu and confusion at the branch-like things dancing in the image, or the house-like things lingering in the background.
