Artists

Tatsunori Fujii
Tatsunori Fujii is an artist who is not to be restricted to the space of the gallery and has developed numerous large scale installations, often in the open air in rural and suburban areas, with works including a series which trace the amount of natural radiation in a given space, to projects such as “Where is the Water!?”(2002) which flooded the floor of the exhibition space and then carried the water to a shrine in offering. This exhibition takes on a new challenge of a small gallery space in the center of the city with 5 works including “Observatory”, an open air work which surrounds the building in which the gallery is based, “Japan’s 10kg Nuclear Weapon” made of cut money bills and “Measurement” which reflects the amount of radiation in the gallery through sound.
