Romano Hänni
Romano Hänni is a typographer and designer in Basel, Switzerland. He has also been creating hand-printed books for 30 years. His latest publication, “Typo Picture Book,” is printed on household paper and features pictures made from hand-printed typography throughout its 54 pages. On the postscript, Hänni writes, “The purpose of this book is its purposelessness, superficially speaking.”

The book “One Thousand and One Tasks” was created at Hänni’s atelier by engineer Willi Haldemann. Composed and printed in letterpress, it shows a diagram of his 1000 tasks since 1984. Both books are on display and for sale at this exhibition, which also presents proof sheets and sketches.
