Artists

Koichiro Takesue
Koichiro Takesue creates his works by digitally processing photographs he has uploaded into a computer. Blurring the lines between illustration, photography, and visual elements, his creations straddle the boundaries of analog and digital, exploring themes of “the material and immaterial through pixels.” This exhibition, Takesue’s first solo show in three years, presents new works examining visual perception and awareness of movement.

This exhibition is part of a regionally affiliated program for the Yebisu International Festival for Art & Alternative Visions held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography from February 7th through February 23rd.
