Artists

Kirico
Kirico is an Osaka-based photographer. In the autumn of 2012 she was asked by a seventeen-year muscular dystrophy patient hospitalized for a long period of time at the Nara Medical Center what was important to everyone in their daily lives. In response, Kirico began photographing items in her surrounding environment, shooting portraits of gifts received from favorite people, cherished collections, and useful everyday objects. This exhibition displays these photographs of possessions imbued with thoughts and memories.
