This event has ended.
As a culmination of it's tradition of arts and crafts, Fendi has put together an traveling exhibition in order to introduce more people to the world of traditional Italian design. With the support of Tokyo University of the Arts, this exhibition, curated by art historian and critic Emanuela Nobile Mino, is being held at the Tokyo University Art Museum, the perfect space for the launch of this exhibition. In this space visitors can experience the past and future of arts and crafts through Fendi's worldview, a leader in fur fashion. In three separate spaces, visitors can vividly experience evolutions in history from the latter half of the 1960's until today. In addition to 30 pieces from Fendi from 1970 on and their accompanying sketches and blueprints, there will be a "fur atrium" that will show behind the scenes in fur garment-making.
