This year’s ICC Kid’s Program presents an exhibition of augmented reality with Masayuki Akamatsu +ARAT Project, exploring the possibilities of another experience of reality. Utilizing a mobile device visitors may view another layer of the pictures, photographs and illustrations on display in the exhibition space, the images coming to life, with blooming flowers, gathering characters, a parade of dancing visuals passing across the viewers eye in a new narrative. Here augmented reality technology allows us to see another world and through cutting edge computer and moving image devices visitors may take on a new fun, yet thought provoking experience.
