Mitsuo Kano

Mitsuo Kano (b.1933) began making copperplate prints in the mid-1950s. He created experimental prints in the 1960s and branched out into oil painting from the late 1970s, developing unique expressions in which the metamorphoses of vivid colors and forms play off of each other. Here the essence of his world is introduced through his early prints to his latest oil paintings and objects.
