17th Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award Exhibition

Taro Okamoto was an artist leading his era, always challenging towards something new. And it is this spirit which the Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award attempts to foster, placing a spotlight on artists who with unique insight throw a cutting message to society. In the 17th volume of this award 20 artists have been selected from 780 submissions, all pointing towards the possibilities of art in the 21st Century.

17 minute walk from the South exit of Mukogaoka-yuen Station on the Odakyu line; From the South exit of Mukogaoka-yuen Station, take the bus and get off at Ikuta Ryokuchi Iriguchi. The venue is 8 minute walk from there.
