Introducing contenders for this year’s “Good Design Long Life Design Award,” chosen by the head of the Japan Institute of Design Promotion as “design that builds our lives, which we hope to see continue fulfilling this role.” In addition to this year’s entrants, memorable works of past lifestyle design and messages from their designers are on display. Visitors are welcome to write their own messages of support. Winners of the competition will be announced on October 30th.
