Fumihiko Haba “Ceramics - When Even Eternity is Too Short”

LIXIL Gallery 1 & 2
Finished

Artists

Fumihiko Haba
Drawing on motifs of historic Islamic architecture and tiles Haba creates 3D work using ceramic techniques. With colorful tiles covering relic like boxes and fragments, the work creates a noble impressive atmosphere. And yet as one looks upon the pieces seemingly broken by weathering and collision one may distinguish a sense of time’s flow, in which everything is in a process of change. Here he presents a collection of 5 new works.

Venue: LIXIL Gallery, Galeria Ceramica
