Ochugen, or midsummer gift giving, is a seasonal custom in step with Japan’s long and enduring culture of gift-exchanging. The brand 47 presents forty-seven varieties of natural food from Japan’s mountains and oceans that let you experience the uniqueness of the country and show your appreciation to those who have helped you this year. All displayed goods, which are limited-edition items, are available for sale and can be sent anywhere in Japan. You can also make your own small gift to go along with your purchase.
