Hiromi Go has reigned as one of Japan’s top pop idols since his debut 42 years ago at the age of 15. Still making more than 100 stage appearances each year, he remains active as a genre-defying singer. In his constant quest for new heights of super-stardom, Go is branching out into new forms of visual expression, this time with the photo book “G Hiromi Go” by Hong Kong photographer Jimmy Ming Shum. In celebration of the book going on sale, Tsutaya Books presents impressive outtakes, unpublished photos, and jewelry worn by Go during the photo shoots. On the same day as the book’s launch, Go will also release the single “Bang Bang” with a display of valuable LPs and costumes for a look back on his discography.
