Photography research Mika Kobayashi, who has planned exhibitions for the International Center of Photography and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, displays an enormous talent for interpreting great works of photography through extensive research into texts from all ages. This exhibition selects 12 photographs and Kobayashi’s essays on them published on the blog “Mika Kobayashi Reads Stories Behind Photographs.” The featured images include masterpieces exhibited by Toki-no-Wasuremono Gallery. The essays explore the stories behind the photographs and their photographers’ intentions.
