Tim Barber is known for his elegantly composed observations that locate complex beauty in the seemingly mundane. His images create interwoven narratives that are as generous to the viewer as they are mysterious. From portraits to landscapes to narrative scenes, Barber approaches all of his subjects with a palpable delicacy. For “Relations,” his third solo exhibition at Yuka Tsuruno Gallery, Barber will show 23 previously unreleased works and will release his latest monograph, which is also titled “Relations” and was edited and designed by Barber himself. This will be the second monograph on Barber’s work published by gallery. A reception and book signing will be held on Friday, September 27, from 6:00–8:00 p.m.
