Toward A Design Museum Japan

21_21 Design Sight
Finished
This exhibition reconstructs all of 21_21 Design Sight’s exhibitions, talks, workshops, and other events as a way of thinking about how to make a Japanese design museum a reality. In a search for Japan’s “design identity,” it also introduces case studies of overseas design museums and domestic museums with private collections. The curators hope to open the doors to a design museum of the future that is accessible to people of all persuasions.
