Ruri Byaku
"Hanashizume" is a historic Japanese festival in which branches of cherry blossom are offered in a shinto ritual of purification. The shrine painter Ruri Byaku undertakes this theme in contemporary nihonga using holy water and natural rock. During the exhibition a series of workshops will also be held.
