This event has ended.

“Thunderbirds” was a long-lasting TV series first born in the UK in 1965. Even now when “Thunderbirds” is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary, the program continues to attract people of all ages and nationalities. Taking “Thunderbirds” as an embodiment of the hopes, dreams and ideals of convenience and comfort of an era, this exhibition introduces the technologies depicted in “Thunderbirds” together with the most advanced science and technology of the present day.
Here visitors may enjoy the world’s first 3D “Thunderbirds” video, models of the Thunderbirds machines, and Japan’s cutting-edge science and technology, and the fruit of current R&D programs, presented side-by-side with those of the future described in the “Thunderbirds” series.
Here visitors may deepen their understanding of Japan’s most advanced science and technology via the dreamlike future described in “Thunderbirds” a little less than 50 years ago, reaching beyond generations to depict sustainable possibilities of the future.
