Since its beginnings in the 1980s, The Japan Inter-Design Forum has introduced leading professionals in fields including design, architecture, and art with more than 30 events in major Japanese and international cities. 2013 marks the seventh anniversary of the death of the Forum’s founder, Kisho Kurokawa. On this occasion, the Forum and the National Art Center, Tokyo, which Kurokawa was involved in designing, have jointly invited Japanese and foreign professionals to give addresses. With the theme “Towards Symbiosis in Asia,” this exciting three-day program offers 15 sessions of T&P (Talk & Presentation) events and performances providing insight into the future of the 21st century.
