The University Museum, the University of Tokyo (UMUT)
This exhibition showcases fifty historical scientific specimens from the collection of the Kyoto University Museum, with a focus on those bequeathed to the former Daisan High School. Until now, the public activities of UMUT have been conducted with specimens from the University of Tokyo. Precious scientific specimens belonging to the Kyoto University Museum are presented to the public in eastern Japan for the first time.
