“Get together with Taro: Laboratory of the Freedom”

Taro Okamoto Museum of Art, Kawasaki
Finished

Artists

Taro Okamoto
The exhibition’s title is taken from a line in Okamoto’s book “Today’s Art,” in which he proposed a new artistic perspective. He advocated all family members, from grandparents to parents and children, draw and paint freely, openly discussing and critiquing each other’s work. The pieces on display represent a variety of genres, giving viewers a window onto Okamoto’s spirit of freedom.
