Noriko Yamamoto Ceramics Exhibition “Egg Shells”

LIXIL Gallery 1 & 2
Finished

Artists

Noriko Yamamoto
These ceramic sculptures by award-winning artist Noriko Yamamoto, whose work was featured at the 2013 Kobe Triennale, are inspired by the image of egg shells. Resembling flower petals and buds, each work is roughly 40 cm in size and seems to be made of an assembly of white fragments that possess a sense of delicacy, nobility, and purity. This exhibition of eight new works is Yamamoto’s first solo show in Tokyo.
