Chikashi Kasai
Chikashi Kasai launched her latest photography collection in December 2013 under the title of “Muscovite”, meaning both the crystal and glass of Moscow, as well as referring to the people of Moscow, with a series of photographs featuring the actress Youko Maki in the suburbs of Moscow. With a documentary approach she captures the particular allure of Maki in various private situations in hotels, guest houses and on the metro, framed by the backdrop the Moscow cityscape. This exhibition features 30 original prints, along with catalogues and related items for sale.
