As part of the second leg of the Red Bull Music Academy a special exhibition explores the limits of the senses through the work of pioneering electronic/visual artist Ryoji Ikeda. Renowned for the unrivaled depths of his sound art and impressively large scale light and video installations, Ikeda is an artist who takes up both the visible and invisible mass of data which surrounds us in contemporary society and pushes this to a new level of audio/visual perception. Here audiences can enjoy work from this leading artist who has presented his work at leading venues such as London’s Tate Modern, Barcelona’s Sonar Festival and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT).
