In an era of mass information and mass consumption, art itself is at growing risk of becoming standardized, raising the question whether the kind of “place for expression” which artists pursue truly exists. This seminar examines the practice of artists and curators who take on the challenge towards the new upon a daily basis and points towards the future potential of curation.
