René Spitzer + Hiroki Tsukuda “The Noom Induction”

Nanzuka Underground
Finished

Artists

René Spitzer, Hiroki Tsukuda
Sptizer and Tsukuda’s joint exhibition in 2012 was entitled “N = R* x fp x ne x fl x fi x fc x L” after the Drake equation which claims to formulate the number of intelligent life forms in the universe, indicating the pair’s outward looking stance. This time the two come together again under the title of“The Noom Induction”, Noom being a name which Sptizer coined for the operators of revolutionary new space ships which can travel faster than the speed of light in her own imagined cosmos.
This exhibition features new and recent work from Sptizer, latest outputs from Tsukuda as well as a collaborative installation piece, their creations not being merely works of fiction but assertions of how imagination can bring reality to ideas.

An opening reception, including artist talk will be held from May 31(Sat) 18:00.
