Contact Gonzo
Exploring not only the physical contact between one person and another, this event wages the body of each member against the challenge of various “difficult” situations. With the gallery space decked out in the waste materials produced during the rebuilding of the Gonzo office in Kansai, the unit wrap themselves in cardboard and while carrying their own portraits on their back, struggle to traverse the walls of the gallery without their feet touching the ground, while facing an onslaught of fruits hurtling at speeds of up to 100km/h. As if stumbling through a battlefield, avoiding bombs and landmines the members must overcome hurdle after hurdle in order to complete their work.
