Teratotera is a series of art projects held along the Chuo Lines since 2010. Baus Theater, Kichioji’s venerated movie house, has been collaborating with Teratora since the beginning, hosting film screenings, live music, and talks. Closing after 30 years, as a final show Baus Theater presents works by Yusuke Asai inspired by the theater on its inside and outside walls. Asai will create new works every day of the exhibition, which will be on display until the theater’s closing on Tuesday, June 10th.
Please note that only movie viewers will be admitted inside. Indoor movies will be shown free of charge 11:00–13:00 from June 4 (Wed) through June 6 (Fri).
