Cognitive dissonance is a term coined by Leon Festinger for the psychological distress caused by an awareness of two contradictory ideas. Utilizing eight melodies and image patterns of various lengths that share beats, these installations create a dazzling experience for the visitor, who encounters patterns that compete with information exceeding the human limits of perception through an interchange of sensations that transcend auditory and visual awareness.
