“World of the 11 Cats and Noboru Baba”

Hachioji Yume Art Museum
Finished
The picture book series “11 Cats” tells the story of curious, greedy, crafty felines you somehow can’t bring yourself to dislike. Since the first installment came out in 1967, the free-spirited style and humorous tales of these books has charmed generations of old and young alike. In addition to printed manuscripts and original illustrations from the picture books and manga, this exhibition introduces the charm of the Noboru Baba’s artistic world with sketches, writings, and other valuable materials from his youth and adolescence.
