Tatsuoki Nambata, who passed away at the age of 92 in 1997, was featured in numerous art shows including a retrospective in June, 1995. More than 17 years after his death, around 50 oil paintings, watercolors, prints, sculptures, and other works Nambata collected and displayed in his atelier by artists such as Jiro Oyamada, Sokichi Suga, Koshiro Onchi, Shosuke Osawa, Toyoshige Watanabe, Zao Wou-ki, Roberto Matta, Yukio Fukazawa, Takeo Mokuta, and Yo Suzgano will be auctioned.
