In the 1980s printmaking became a popular trend of the art market, linking artists, studios and galleries together. However in recent times it appears that the market has come to lose its awareness towards printmaking as a valid art form, yet at the same time in the field of contemporary art and interior design printmaking continues to be respected for its high level of skill and artistic potential. In order , to raise a re-appreciation of printmaking this summit brings together artists and print studios working across the numerous fields of print, from silkscreen printing to lithography, giclee, copperplate prints and woodblock printing.
