Parco Museum Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Masakatsu Shimoda, Shuntaro Tanikawa, Meisa Fujishiro
Three artists have brought dinosaurs back to life! Driven by an endless love and curiosity for the prehistoric creatures, painter Masakatsu Shimoda has made portraying dinosaurs on canvas a life-long project. Okinawa-based photographer Meisa Fujishiro has taken the baton from Shimoda, photographing “dinosaur people” dressed as the thunder lizards while anxiously awaiting postal deliveries from Shimoda. Finally, the poet Shuntaro Tanikawa has written lively verses inspired by Fujishiro’s photos. These three artists’ fearsome creations are on the loose at Shibuya’s Parco Museum.
