For this year’s Arcus Project, artists-in-residence Seyit Battal Kurt, Florencia Rodríguez Giles, and Constantinos Taliotis have spent 100 days exploring themes of “dreams,” “nature,” and “architecture.” During this two-day Open Studio, these creators will give guided studio tours with guest curator Mihoko Nishikawa from the Museum of Contemporary Tokyo. On the first day (Sat., Oct. 11), Nishikawa will also give a talk looking back on the artists’ creative activities up until now. On day two (Sun., Oct. 12), there will be a discussion with six artists-in-residence organizations from the Kanto area about the current meaning and challenges of hosting such programs.
