Parco has been actively introducing not just fashion but also music, art, theater, and other forms of culture since its founding in 1969, discovering and supporting new talent. Started in 2011, Parco’s Shibukaru Fest presents the works of young female creators. Taking the theme “encounters, experiences,” the 2014 festival is a joint project by these artists, their colleagues, visitors, and participating shops. This year Lou Oshiba, creator of “Lou Language,” a Japanese-English hybrid, is a special supporter.
