Nobuyoshi Sakai
Sakai’s paintings blur the line between the abstract and concrete with compositions of distinct shapes and an emphasis on overlapping translucent colors derived from visual images. The viewer is left with a sense of harmony and warmth. The theme of this series is “seven colors.”
