Hide Nasu “Deep and Far”

Kaneko Art Gallery
Finished

Artists

Hide Nasu
Using washi paper, pigments and wax, Hide Nasu transforms the 2D plane into a space of infinite depth and distance, an effect which he also pursues in his “Kagami Ike”(mirror pool) works which seems to reflect a vast void falling below our feet while at the same time rising to meet us. Here in this exhibition he continues his pursuit of new depths within a seeming single layer.
