The Olympics does not merely involve athletes, there is a whole team of people who come together to make it happen, and in the world of media a range of broadcasting equipment and television cameras have evolved alongside the history of this great event. Here at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation an exhibition of broadcasting technology developed especially for the Olympics is on show including footage of the London Olympics and a powerful projector of 20000 lumens amongst other technological and sporting innovations.
