In the first section of a two part series featuring murals from Japanese artists building on the legacy of Keith Haring’s “Muralism” this exhibition features a 100m long mural across the construction works fencing from the street artist Kami, also an original member of the New York based artist group Barnstormers and active as a mural painter under the name Hitotzuki. Taking hold of that feeling of flight experienced in skateboarding Kami fills his murals with a gripping sense of movement and sets off a new wave of public art.
