Yasuko Iba
Yasuko Iba turns photographs she has taken herself of everyday items into oil paintings, bringing out the qualities of her subjects on canvas through her vision. Her works, which appeal to the viewers’ senses, have become popular. Her first show at Takashimaya focuses on works taking cushions as their motifs, but also includes paintings of patterned teacups, adding an entirely new touch to her work.
