Tea has been a source of relaxation and enjoyment in Japan ever since its arrival from China 1300 years ago. An exploration of the many aspects of tea provides insights into the culture and mentality of Japan. This exhibition looks at everything from the history of tea to its varieties of leaves and growing regions to the new boom in Japanese tea.
