Caught in the currents of a world which often denies choice, what form of resistance might the coincidental processes of printing offer towards this condition? For Katsutoshi Yuasa the very act of throwing a dice may be seen as a small stand of resistance which reasserts human subjectivity and the same possibilities may also lie in the act of making art work. Here he features a collection of work produced while in Belgium this year, alongside a new installation created especially for this exhibition.
