The wooden large format camera deardorff was invented in 1923 in the US, and has continued to be trusted by photographers even to this day. From its early development and design, it has always promoted a particular feature, a unique ease of use which may be found nowhere else and has come to enchant many photographers. Here the work of 10 Japanese devotees to the deardorff camera present an exhibition of work produced with this acclaimed feat of technology.
