The Hosokawa dynasty is renowned for its close affinity with the culture of the tea ceremony, passed down through generations. Here in an exhibition of 25 rare gems of their collection including black raku ware tea bowls and various products of various living national treasures, the aesthetics and skills of Japanese design are placed in the spotlight and point to new discoveries amongst Japanese traditions.
