Tomoko Hisamatsu, Yukiko Hata, Uso Fujishiro, Kazuki Umezawa et al.
Introducing a new installation by Chaos*Lounge, which since 2010 has been producing new art that confronts the realities facing us. Based on the concept “Little Akihabara”, this show is part of a series that includes “Chaos*Exile”, a depiction of otaku culture post-March, 2011 (featured at Festival Tokyo 2011), and “Little Akihabara Moment” (Dec. 2013). It turns the gallery into a “comics market” in the fictional city of “Little Akihabara”. Established as “a comics market revived after the Great East Japan Earthquake by deceased otaku”, it expands our imaginations, offering a look into the current state of otaku and net culture and more.
