Daisuke Samejima
Taking the images of residential districts, suburban highways, giant superstores and covered cars, Daisuke Samejima reconstructs landscapes which appear to exist everywhere and nowhere. His choice of support is not merely limited to canvas but also includes spheres, 3D forms, frames and figures of cows and horses for example, upon which he depicts with a particular force a powerful reality which reawakens us to the presence of these landscapes. Here in this exhibition Samejima presents a new series of works inspired by the name of this gallery.
